Colombia Organic Coffee Beans | Medium-Dark Roast
An association of a 167 family owned coffee farms the Asociacon de Productores Ecologicos de Planada (ASOPEP) was founded to bring big coffee producing options to small family operations. These farms, from the Planadas region in Tolima, have kept their farms through decades of civil unrest and conflict. Since the peace accords were signed in 2016, there has been an abundance of opportunity to grow and expand on the back of the organic whole bean coffee they produce. The exceptional agro-climatic conditions of the area, and countless years of experience of the farmers have allowed them to hone their coffee skills and produced a truly wonderful coffee bean selection. In Columbia, 160 miles from the nearest city and surrounded by crumbling roads hasn't stopped their Passion for bringing their harvest to the rest of the world. With carmel, herb and orange notes, this is a full and layered body medium-dark roast coffee with a clean finish. Its versatility makes it perfect for anything from a morning pot of drip coffee to espresso shots from a fancy coffee shop latte.
